ABOUT
JEJUNG is born in Seoul, South Korea and has lived for a major part of his life in Korea, while serving in the Korean Army, where he learnt about workwear/uniform and also had apprenticeship in tailoring in London. Based on his experiences he applies the technical skills to his menswear collection combining his interests in various media of arts such as painting, photography, graphics and film.
JEJUNG studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and graduated cum laude with his Master’s collection.
He was mentored by Walter Van Beirendonck for his 3BA and then, in his masters’ year by Dirk Van Saene.
With his master’s collection “Double Negative” in 2022, he showed his skills in tailoring and his artistic translations on Andy Warhol who’s been JEJUNG’s endless inspiration.
JEJUNG has been working as full time menswear designer for Antwerp- based brand Arte.
